Akshaya Kumar Moharana

Akshaya Moharana received a Master of Business Administration from Biju Patnaik University of Technology in Rourkela, Odisha in 2007. In February 2025, Akshaya joined Prosperity Partners. Prior to this, he worked at Thomson Reuters where he focused on reviewing individual tax returns. During his tenure at Thomson Reuters, Akshaya also spent time in Irvine, California supporting the team during both the busy and extension seasons. Additionally, he contributed to the development of the lead sheet in SP Binder, enhancing workflow efficiency.

• Favorite thing about my job? I enjoy working hard and finding strategies that help my clients’ tax liabilities. It’s incredibly rewarding to apply my expertise in ways that make a meaningful impact—helping clients navigate complex tax situations and achieve greater financial success.
• Favorite vacation you’ve taken: One of my most memorable vacations was a week spent with my wife at the VGP Golden Beach Resort in Chennai, India. The breathtaking scenery, combined with the luxurious and relaxing atmosphere, made it an unforgettable experience for both of us.
• What is the best dish you can cook? I love preparing delicious snack items and especially enjoy cooking non-vegetarian dishes for Sunday lunch with my family. It’s a great way to spend quality time together and share a home-cooked meal.
• Favorite concert you’ve attended: One of the most memorable concerts I attended was Pritam, Shreya Ghosal, and Kumar Sanu. The energy, live music, and atmosphere were unforgettable. It was an amazing experience to see such talent live and be part of a crowd that shared the same excitement!
