Cathy Attigcpa

Before joining Prosperity Partners, Cathy co-founded Danaher Attig & Plante PLC in 2005, following a decade at KPMG LLP. Her practice centers on Income, Gift, and Estate Planning and Compliance, with a specialized focus on the unique needs of affluent families and business owners.

She holds a B.S. in Accounting from Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland. Cathy is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Vermont Society of CPAs.

Outside of work, Cathy enjoys boating on Lake Champlain, reading, and spending time with her family in Vermont.

I am fortunate to collaborate with a team of talented, dedicated professionals who challenge and support one another. Equally important is the trust our clients place in us. Building long-term relationships and helping clients navigate complex financial challenges is deeply rewarding and gives meaning to the work we do.
• Favorite vacation you’ve taken: Australia! My husband and I joined our daughter at the end of her semester abroad and traveled the Great Ocean Road from Adelaide to Melbourne, including a stay on Kangaroo Island. We often refer to it as our “trip around the world,” having departed from New York with an overnight in Qatar and returning with a stopover in Hawaii before heading home to the East Coast.

• What would your last meal be? Steak frites with Caesar salad!
