Heather MacGarvey

Heather MacGarvey earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Go Buffs! After graduating, she gained valuable experience as a Senior Staff Accountant at a small software company. Heather joined Pipaya (now Prosperity) in 2020 and currently serves as the Office Manager, Event Planner, and Bookkeeper, playing a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Outside of work, Heather enjoys cheering on her sons at their football and soccer games, staying active with her neighborhood bootcamp, and unwinding with movie nights alongside her husband.

• Favorite thing about my job: I love the variety in my day-to-day that comes with wearing many hats, it keeps things interesting! I also really enjoy finding ways to make things easier for our employees.

• Favorite way to celebrate your birthday: I prefer a lowkey, simple celebration – dinner at home with my family on our porch is perfect!
• Favorite work outing you’ve been on: Our annual offsite trip to Breckenridge is always a highlight. It is such a fun and refreshing way to connect with the team.
• What is the best dish you can cook? Lasagna – all credit goes to my grandma for the recipe, though!
