Jacob Petit

Jacob Petit graduated from Lewis University with a Major in Accounting and a Double Minor in Finance and Computer Science. After completing two tax internships during his undergrad, the second internship being a year-long internship with Prosperity, he joined the firm full time in December 2025. As a Tax Associate, he is involved in the preparation of both individual and business returns. In his spare time, Jacob enjoys playing frisbee golf and watching a variety of sports including basketball, football, and Formula 1.

• Favorite thing about my job: Being new to the accounting field, Prosperity Partners has given me a place to grow and build upon my technical skills. Having a communicative and responsive group of team members will allow me to continue to grow into the tax professional I hope to be one day!
• Favorite workout: My favorite workout is the back squat because I do not want to have a big upper body and small legs….
• Favorite sport to play: My favorite sport to play is basketball. I played all throughout middle school and high school and still enjoy playing pick up when the weather allows.
