Favorite thing about my job: Getting a front row seat to how successful businesses are run. I get to solve complicated puzzles that somehow involve spreadsheets, footnotes, and laws written by people who clearly hate clarity. There’s also a quiet thrill in knowing you’ve saved a company real money while everyone else just sees “magic numbers.” Plus, nothing builds character like explaining why the tax answer is “it depends” and meaning it with your whole soul.

What is the best dish you can cook? My daughters will tell you it’s my famous grilled cheese ‘sandys’.

Favorite workout or sport to play: I played baseball starting from the age of 3 all the way through college. Although my MLB dreams fell a bit short, I was successful in getting a firm sponsored softball team up and running for a couple of seasons!

Favorite movie quote: “Leave the gun, take the cannoli.” – Peter Clemenza, The Godfather
Desert Island Book: The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho – “To realize one’s destiny is a person’s only real obligation.”

What is your side gig/passion project/hobby? I own and operate a small wood working business with my wife. I design and build all different types of signs and logos, but primarily build different backdrops and party props for event planners.

Favorite way to celebrate your birthday: A backyard BBQ with friends and family, sitting poolside with my wife and three daughters.
