Judy Deng

Judy graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s Degree (2020) and Master’s Degree (2021) in Accounting. Judy began her career as a Tax Accountant at a mid-sized public accounting firm in Chicago focusing on Partnerships, Individuals, and Not-for-Profit Tax Compliance. After 4 years with the firm, she joined Prosperity Partners in 2025 as a Senior Tax Associate. Originally from San Jose, California, Judy has been living in Chicago since graduation. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking, and playing with her cat, Toast!

• Favorite thing about my job: The people and culture – working with other empathetic and supportive teammates makes work much more enjoyable and rewarding. Free snacks is a close second!
• Favorite way to celebrate your birthday: Getting hot pot for dinner and spending the night in playing party games or board games with friends.
• What would your last meal be? AYCE Korean BBQ
• What is the best dish you can cook? Hmm.. Probably birria tacos. I’ve been told I also make a delicious kimchi fried rice.
• What is your side gig/passion project/hobby? I enjoy anything arts & crafts! Lately I have been into gel nail art, crochet kits, and painting.
• Favorite workout or sport to play? I enjoy snowboarding (casually) and have been going every winter for the last 10 years or so.
