Michelle Cantrell

Michelle Cantrell started her Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a focus in Finance at DeVry University and finished online with Rasmussen University while working a full-time job in the Mortgage Industry. Additionally, she completed a Mid-Level Leadership Program from Rockhurst University sponsored by The Labor Management Council of Greater Kansas City. The past 6 years she has worked in the Industrial Construction Industry as a Midwest Regional Accounting Manager. Michelle is excited to join Prosperity Partners and for the change in career to have better work-life balance. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, pretty much anything outdoors, and taking in live music at one of the local bars here in Kansas City!

• What is the best dish you can cook? It would be a tie between Sausage and Shrimp Jambalaya or Creamy Chicken Enchiladas.
• Favorite Vacation you’ve taken: A Caribbean cruise to Honduras, Belize, and Cozumel. My favorite excursion was in Belize where we went cave tubing and zip lining through the rain forest!
• What is your go to karaoke song? Lose Control by Teddy Swims or Someone Like You by Adele
• Favorite work outing you’ve been on: At a previous company, we had a team building event out in Barnard, KS where we shot targets from 500 ft to 1 mile away. I was able to hit every target! It was out in the middle of nowhere, the only way you had cell phone service was back at our cabins with a lodge.
• Favorite Concert you’ve attended: That is a hard one! Tom Petty was pretty phenomenal, and in the last year I saw Jelly Roll, Shaboozey, Clint Black, Jamey Johnson, Sawyer Brown, & Rascal Flatts. They were all great!
• Favorite workout or sport to play? Pickleball.
