Umesh “Mike” Jain hails from the Punjab region of India. He received his bachelor’s degree in 1975 from Punjab University and earned his credentials as a Chartered Accountant while working for A.F. Ferguson & Co (now a part of Deloitte) which at the time was the oldest and most prestigious public accounting firm in India. Mike came to United States in January, 1981 and quickly earned his CPA credentials in Texas. In 1986, he founded the public accounting firm, Jain & Jain, with this wife, Rajni. With a strong focus on client service, Mike and Rajni earned a strong reputation for providing pragmatic, actionable tax and accounting advice and carved out a niche in serving businesses and their owner/operators. Mike is actively involved in the community and currently serves on:

Board member of Woodforest National Bank
Member of the Audit committee of Greater Houston Community Foundation
Member of the economic advisory committee of Lieutenant Governor of Texas.
Mike authored a new book for which he continues to receive plaudits from various political operatives for his prescient perspective. In his spare time, Mike enjoys spending time with his clients, close friends, and family – especially his grandchildren.
