Scout Precourt

Scout Precourt completed her Undergraduate and Master of Accountancy Degree at the University of Vermont. She interned at Danaher Attig & Plante, PLC for three of her undergraduate years and ended up joining the firm as a fulltime employee upon graduation! Scout joined Prosperity Partners as a Senior Tax Associate in the spring of 2025, specializing in preparing and reviewing complex tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and businesses. However, she favors the challenge of estate and gift tax returns, which require a smart mix of accuracy, planning, and attention to what makes each case unique.

In her spare time, Scout enjoys spending time with her kids (Michael, Adalyn, Montie, and Imani). Taxes could never compete with the sound of their laughter. And when a rare quiet moment arises, she happily reclaims it for some much-needed rest!

• Favorite thing about my job: My coworkers are the best part of my job! I’ve had the true privilege of working alongside some of the kindest, most supportive, and encouraging people imaginable.
• What is the best dish you can cook? Chuletas Guisadas (Puerto Rican Stewed Pork Chops) served over rice or mashed potatoes.
• Favorite way to celebrate your birthday: My birthday is a long, drawn out, holiday. I enjoy spending time with my family, spending time alone, and taking up a little more space in the world.
• What is your side gig/passion project/hobby? I love helping my son with his lemonade business, Mighty Mike’s Lemonade. His business has grown from doing the local farmers markets to doing large, local events. It’s fun to watch him grow as a young entrepreneur and help behind the scenes!
• I have an Irrational Fear of: Insects and spiders.
