  • Favorite thing about my job: One of my favorite things about my job is the opportunity to continuously learn and grow as a tax professional. Every new client, system, and software platform brings a different challenge, which keeps the work interesting and helps me build a broader skill set.
  • Favorite way to celebrate your birthday: Traveling! For my most recent birthday, my partner and I took a cruise to Alaska. It was our first cruise, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Between the glaciers, wildlife, and incredible views, it was a birthday I’ll never forget.
  • I have an irrational fear of: Dogs. I’m fully aware they’re usually friendly, but my brain didn’t get the memo. Fortunately, my sister-in-law has a dog and brings him everywhere, so I’ve been getting plenty of exposure therapy and making slow but steady progress.
  • Favorite concert you’ve attended: Panic! At The Disco at Madison Square Garden. I was lucky enough to win box-seat tickets and brought my dad with me. We’ve always bonded over music, so getting to share that experience with him made an amazing concert even more memorable.
  • What would the title of your autobiography be?I Made a Spreadsheet for That.” Whether it’s planning a vacation, budgeting, or organizing a project, there’s a good chance I’ve built a spreadsheet to help!
