Sydney Hallums

Sydney Hallums graduated from the University of South Florida in 2021 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She began her career with a tax-focused internship at a regional firm in Middle Tennessee where she was raised. Sydney always anticipated living in Florida, and she got the opportunity to take a full-time Tax Associate position in Melbourne, Florida in 2021. She was pleased to join Danaher, Attig, & Plante, PLC as a remote Tax Preparer in 2023, eventually becoming part of the Prosperity Partners team in 2025. She currently serves as a Tax Associate and is working towards her CPA certification.

In her free time, Sydney enjoys spending time with her friends and family either by the beach, pool, or at an amusement park. She is very grateful that working remotely allows her flexibility to spend time with her favorite guy – her corgi named Colin!

• My favorite thing about my job: The best thing about my job is the amazing team of people I get to work with every day. I have found some of the most kind, caring, and inspirational mentors and friends during my time with this team. I look forward to working everyday knowing we are all in it together!
• Desert Island Book: If I were stranded on a desert island, I would likely have a large selection of books until my kindle runs out of battery considering I take it everywhere! I am a big fan of romance and fantasy novels, and I feel like you need something with a lot of action and intrigue to keep rereading on a desert island, therefore I would choose Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros. The romance, political intrigue, and dragons are sure to keep you entertained for days.
• What is your side gig/passion project/hobby? I have recently gotten into crochet as a hobby for myself. I often like to listen to audiobooks, but I prefer to have something to do with my hands. When I need to relax, I often pick up my crochet hook and make something. Currently, I am working on a blanket with different colored floral granny squares.
• What is the best dish you can cook? I am not always the best cook, but I have had to be creative and branch out because of my gluten sensitivity. My favorite meal that I make is a gluten free lasagna recipe that I found on a gluten free recipe blog! I also like to make it using my homemade meat sauce that I make in my instant pot.
• Favorite concert you’ve attended: I was very fortunate to be able to get tickets to The Eras Tour by Taylor Swift. I am a huge Swiftie, and I have been from a very young age. I grew up right outside the Nashville area where she first rose to popularity. From her country music to her pop albums to her folk music I have loved it all, and it was such an incredible experience to see it all come together in one show.
