Tejal Shah graduated from Mumbai University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Economics. She joined SurePrep India (Pvt) Ltd. in 2005 and began her career as a seasoned professional with a strong background in tax preparation. Over the years, she has developed expertise in leading the review of 1040 and 1041 returns using CCH Axcess, GoSystem, and UltraTax software for U.S. Individual, Federal, and State filings. She has led teams of more than five during both the busy and extension seasons for many years, and her dedication and performance quickly earned her a promotion to Senior Tax Reviewer. Tejal has also traveled to the United States to support onshore operations, where she prepared and reviewed complex 1040 and 1041 tax returns. In addition, she has strong expertise in OCR technology and has successfully implemented OCR solutions to streamline workflows, automate data entry, and significantly reduce manual errors. Her ability to learn quickly and her strong application-oriented attitude has consistently led to her success as a tax professional.

  • Favorite vacation you’ve taken: One of my most memorable vacations was a week spent with my husband in Goa, India. The beautiful beaches, vibrant culture, and laid-back coastal vibe made the trip truly unforgettable.
  • If you were a board game, what game would you be? Carrom
  • Favorite workout or sport to play: I enjoy staying active by playing badminton and participating in running games.
  • What is the best dish you can cook? Almost all Indian dishes – I enjoy experimenting and trying new flavors in the kitchen!
