EXPERTISE: Closely Held Businesses, Partnership Taxation, Corporate Taxation

  • Favorite thing about my job: Finishing projects and deliverables for my clients in a way that not only meets their needs, but also makes them feel secure and confident about their financial decisions. Knowing that I’ve helped take a burden off their shoulders is a great reward!
  • Favorite work outing you’ve been on: Several years ago, some former co-workers and I spent a week in New Orleans for a training conference. We really enjoyed the food, outdoor atmosphere, live music, and culture.
  • Desert Island Book: The Iliad. I enjoy reading the long and profound dialogues between the various heroes and the vivid fight scenes.
  • If you were a board game, what game would you be? I’ve always enjoyed a good Monopoly game. I like the fun of the initial land grab of buying various properties, which mainly is a matter of landing on spaces by chance, but then what follows are the various negotiations and deals making the game really interesting.
  • Favorite concert you attended: I’ve seen AC/DC twice before. Both times they put on a fantastic show and sounded amazing live.
